This little essay explains how and why quantum mechanics is not restricted to microscopic systems. Moreover, it shows how the classical equations of motion are obtained from the quantum mechanical description, taking the limit ℏ→0, within three approaches, viz. the Schrödinger and Heisenberg pictures and Feynman's path integral approach to quantum mechanics. Again, mathematical rigor is not attempted but enough information is given for any sufficiently mathematically educated person to obtain a detailed answer by way of own calculations or some research in the web.
